Who we are

DataMedics Analytics and Consulting Services, CAC Business Name, BN 9574178, registered 26 May 2026. We are based in Nigeria and serve learners and clients worldwide. You can reach us at [email protected]. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Your account. Your name, email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in a form anyone can read.
• Enquiries and consulting. When you contact us we keep your name, email, and anything you choose to tell us, such as your phone number, organisation and message.
• Course activity. Which lessons you complete and any certificate issued to you, so your progress and achievements are saved to your account.
• Payments. When you buy a course or service, the payment is handled by our payment provider (see below). We receive a confirmation and a reference. We never see or store your full card number, PIN or bank password.
• Files you upload to our data tools. Stored only so we can process them and return a result. They belong to you and are private to your account.
• If you join our mailing list. Your email address and where you signed up, so we can tell you about new courses and offers.
• Technical information. Basic server logs and a small number of cookies needed to keep you signed in and to measure which pages are useful.

Why we collect it

To create and run your account, to deliver the courses and work you ask for, to take payment, to reply to you, and to meet our record keeping obligations as a registered business. We use your email for the mailing list only if you choose to join it. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it to advertise to you across other websites.

Payments

Card and transfer payments are processed securely by Paystack, our payment provider. Your payment details are entered with them, not with us, and they handle the security of that transaction. We keep only the record of what you bought and a payment reference, which you can see in your account.

Cookies

We use a small essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a privacy-friendly analytics measure that tells us which pages are visited. It does not track you across other websites or build a profile of you. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in may stop working if you block the essential one.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and course records while your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards or as the law requires. Files you upload to the data tools are kept while your account is open. Mailing-list entries are kept until you ask to leave. Ask us to delete your data and we will, unless we are required to keep a record.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to a particular use, or ask for your data in a portable form. Write to us at the address above and we will respond. If you join the mailing list you can leave at any time. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), or to the data protection authority in your own country.

Children

Our courses and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will remove it.

Where your data is handled

We operate from Nigeria, so if you are using the site from another country your information is processed in, and transferred to, Nigeria. By using the site you understand that this transfer takes place. We protect it the same way wherever you are.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the site grows. The date below shows when it was last reviewed. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
