What this covers
This policy covers courses and digital products bought on this site. Consulting engagements are not covered here; each is governed by its own signed agreement, which sets out its own terms for fees and cancellation.
Digital access
A paid course gives you immediate access to lessons and to downloadable material such as datasets and practice files. Because that value is delivered the moment you buy, please read the course outline and the free preview lessons before purchasing, so you know what you are getting.
Our refund window
We still want you to buy with confidence. You can request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase if both of these are true:
- you have completed no more than a small part of the course (about one fifth of its lessons), and
- you have not downloaded the bulk of its datasets and practice files.
We review each request fairly and reasonably. The aim is to protect genuine buyers who find the course is not for them, not to allow a whole course to be taken and then reclaimed.
When a refund is not available
After the 7 day window, after you have completed a substantial part of the course, or after you have downloaded most of its materials, a refund is not available, because the value has been delivered. The free course has no charge, so there is nothing to refund.
Memberships
Membership is paid for a set term and does not renew automatically. Within 7 days of starting a term you can request a refund if you have not made substantial use of the included courses. After that the term runs to its end.
Duplicate or accidental payments
If you were charged twice, or charged in error, tell us and we will refund the extra payment in full.
How to request a refund
Email us at [email protected] within the window, with the email address on your account and your order or payment reference. We aim to reply within a few working days.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment provider, Paystack. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Your statutory rights
This policy does not take away any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you. Where that law gives you a stronger right, that right stands.
