What we actually do
We start with the question, not the spreadsheet. What has to be decided, and what would count as evidence for it? From there we clean what needs cleaning, run the analysis that fits the data rather than the one that is fashionable, and write up what we found in language a non specialist can act on.
Every result arrives with the code and the method attached. If you want to rerun it next quarter with fresh numbers, you can, without calling us.
